Access Disclaimer
Draft version · last updated 14 September 2026
In short: information on Qapacity supports discovery and planning. Confirm technical suitability, eligibility and safety requirements with the provider before relying on a facility.
1.Technical information
Information provided through Qapacity is intended to support infrastructure discovery and access planning. Facility capabilities, availability and suitability can change and may depend on details not represented on the platform. Users should obtain appropriate confirmation from the relevant provider before relying on a facility for a specific technical requirement.
2.Provider information
Facility profiles may contain information supplied directly by providers as well as information obtained from identified public sources. Providers are responsible for information they submit or verify. Qapacity may identify inconsistencies or stale information but does not independently certify a provider's technical capability unless expressly stated under a separate service.
A facility appearing on Qapacity does not mean that Qapacity has certified, accredited or approved that facility.
3.Export control and restricted access
Quantum technology may involve:
- export controls;
- dual-use restrictions;
- national-security restrictions;
- facility security rules;
- restricted research.
Qapacity does not determine that access is legally permissible merely because a facility matches technically. Qapacity does not describe any facility, request or access as export compliant. Where relevant, profiles and requests show one of these states:
- Restriction unknown
- Provider restrictions apply
- Eligibility confirmation required
- Potential export-control review
- Security review required
Additional eligibility review may be required. Customers and providers are each responsible for their own export-control, sanctions, security and eligibility checks and for obtaining any licences or approvals required.
4.Safety
Facility providers retain control over:
- site safety;
- equipment operation;
- training;
- sample acceptance;
- hazard assessment;
- experimental procedure.
Submitting an access request through Qapacity does not authorise any physical work.
5.Commercial status
- A quote is not an invoice.
- An accepted quote is not automatically proof of payment.
- A booking request is not a confirmed booking.
- A provider profile is not certification.
- A technical match is not a guarantee.
- A Qapacity recommendation is not professional engineering approval.
